Node Explained · Lesson 9 of 12
FOREACH Node: One Run Per Item, in Parallel
Point a FOREACH node at any list and it repeats one child run per item, in parallel, so one bad row never touches the rest.
What You Will Learn
- Pointing a FOREACH node at any list, from a file upload, an API response or an earlier step
- Defining the work for one item only, not the whole batch, and letting the node repeat it
- Concurrency as a throttle: turn it up to finish faster, down when the system on the other end has a rate limit
- Why each item gets its own independent child run and execution log, so one failure is isolated and debuggable
- The cost warning before you press run: a thousand items means a thousand sets of model calls
- Combining FOREACH with a USE CASE node for the standard batch pattern: build the single-item logic once, then loop it
